These terms govern your use of ClearTools and its products (ClearShip, ClearDuty, ClearDocs). By creating an account you agree to these terms.
The service
- ClearTools provides calculation and document generation tools for UK import and export trade
- Results are provided for informational purposes only and do not constitute legal, financial, or customs advice
- You remain responsible for the accuracy of information you provide and for compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
Your account
- You must be 18 or over and using the service for business purposes
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure
- One account may be used across all ClearTools products
Payments and subscriptions
- Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually via Stripe
- Annual subscriptions are non-refundable after 14 days
- Monthly subscriptions can be cancelled at any time — access continues until the end of the billing period
- We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice to existing subscribers
Acceptable use
- You may not use ClearTools for unlawful purposes or to process sanctions-restricted trade
- You may not attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or abuse the service
Liability
- ClearTools is provided as-is. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability
- Our liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding any claim
- We are not liable for customs delays, duty assessments, or shipment issues arising from use of our tools
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
